Code of Conduct for Students

  • As per the University and Board Regulation, any candidate whose attendance is less than 75% in each subject of the lecture delivered shall not be allowed to undergo Internship and to appear pre-final examination under Rule.
  • Attendance in morning assembly is compulsory.
  • Prescribed institution uniform is compulsory for all.
  • Ragging in the institution campus is strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking in the institution premises is strictly prohibited.
  • Students should keep their identity card with them every time and it must be show on demand by the institution authority.
  • Without prior permission leave of any level is not allowed.
  • Indiscipline/Misbehave in class or during the examination not be tolerated and action against will be taken by authority.
  • Damage to institution property has to be compensated by the individual and action will be taken by the discipline committee of the institution.
  • Students are expected to spend their free time in the library.
  • All the students will follow the library rules.
  • Every student must read the information displayed on the Notice Board.
  • Be polite and respectful towards teachers and other students.
  • Every student has to participate in all the co-curricular activities conducted in the institution.
  • Students joining the institution are bound by the rules and regulations of the institution.
  • All students should take their lunch in the common room.
  • All students utilize canteen facilities as according to their needs.

Code of Conduct for Teachers

  • Teachers are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the ideal of the profession.
  • Teachers should express their free and frank opinion in the meetings for the betterment and upliftment of the institution.
  • Teachers will make morning assembly effective and interesting so that the students have an eagerness to reach on time in the morning assembly.
  • Teachers will not discourage weak student in studies bit will encourage them to do better.
  • Respect the institution goals and helps to achieve them.
  • Teachers should perform their duties with full honesty and dedication, as given by the principal or TIC.
  • Apart from the regular duties like teaching, tutorials, practicals; teachers should work for their professional development by attending seminars/workshops/conferences.
  • Teachers must maintain a cordial relation with their colleagues.
  • Teachers should participate in extension, co-curricular activities and community service.
  • Teachers shall communicate with students impartially regardless of their religion, caste or economic characteristics.
  • Teachers should motivate students to improve their academic and professional achievements.
  • Teacher should refrain from availing leave except on unavoidable grounds, and as far as possible take leave with prior intimation, permission and adjustment of their responsibility.
  • Cooperation of teachers is expected towards the institution’s green initiative by adopting sustainable practices like switch off the lights/fan when not require, communicate via email, take print when it is very important, use both sides of papers etc. 

Code of Conduct for Administrators

  • Be a positive role model for all the staff member at all times and value the individual.
  • Respect the right dignity and worth of all people and refrain from any discriminatory practices against any person regardless of age, gender, religion or ability.
  • Display high standards in language, manner, punctuality, preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and behaviour.
  • Encourage others to demonstrate the same qualities.
  • Be fair, considerate, impartial and honest in all dealing with others.
  • Be present in the meeting with all the staff member which is held periodically for the discussion of institution proceedings.
  • Establish and maintain Co-operative relationship with the staff members.
  • Demonstrate courtesy and respect in all dealings with students and staff members.

Code of Conduct for Other Staff (Non-Teaching Staff)

  • Every staff member employed in the institution shall discharge his or her duties efficiently and diligently as per the rules and regulations laid by the competent authority.
  • All staff members should display the highest possible standards of professional behaviour.
  • All staff members should be punctual and discipline towards their work.
  • Every staff member shall maintain the appropriate levels of confidentiality with respect to students and staff records and other sensitive matters.
  • Every staff member should maintain the image of the institution through standards of a dress general courtesy etc.
  • All staff members should respect for the rights and opinions of others.
  • Every staff member should co-operate with students, colleagues and superiors.
